Miso Maple Pork and Roast Veg Recipe

Using Spring Gully’s all NEW Miso Maple Flavoured Relish this recipe combines the salty-sweet umami flavour of the Miso Maple with the classic Pork and Roast Veg homestyle meal.

Serves: 2


  • Spring Gully Miso Maple Flavoured Relish
  • 2 pork chops
  • 3 potatoes
  • 2 beetroot
  • 4 carrot
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • Oil



Preheat oven to 200°C. Place pork chops on a plate, put 1 generous tablespoon of Spring Gully Miso Maple Flavoured Relish on each pork chop. Rub the relish all over the pork chop on both sides. Let rest to marinate for minimum 15 minutes (but the longer the better!).


Prep vegetables by cutting them so they are all roughly the same size. Line a large baking tray with baking paper.


Place all cut vegetables in a bowl. Toss vegetables with oil, salt, pepper and 3 generous tablespoons of Spring Gully Miso Maple Flavoured Relish. Spread the vegetables out evenly on the baking tray. Place in oven and roast for 30 minutes to an hour, stirring at least once or twice during roasting for even cooking and browning.


Heat 2 teaspoons of oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the pork and cook for 3-4 minutes each side for medium or until cooked to your liking. Once cooked set aside for 5 minutes to rest.


Plate up miso maple pork and roast veg and serve with miso maple relish on the side. Enjoy this sweet and savoury delight!
