Scones with Spring Gully Jam

Enjoy for afternoon tea or special occasion. Serve with lashings of Spring Gully Jam and thick cream

  • Salt 3t caster sugar ½ C cream
  • ½ C soda water Preheat the oven to 220
  • 1 ½ C self raising flour pinch
  1. Place the flour, salt and sugar together in a large bowl
  2. Mix and make a well
  3. Add the cream and soda water into the well, and using a knife, mix until combined
  4. Turn the dough out onto a clean, lightly floured surface, and level the surface
  5. Use a 6cm cutter, to make 6 scones
  6. Place onto a baking tray, and into the hot oven for 10-12 minutes, or until golden, light and fluffy
  7. Makes 6 scones
